How did you become passionate about healthy eating?
I began my journy during childhood. Later in life I decided to study the field of nutrition while working as an aerobic fitness instructor. I graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette In with a BS degree in Dietetics.
What is your number one concern when it comes to kids and nutrition?
Parents need to begin the healthy eating process early on, as a role model without being obcessed with eating and dieting.
What are you doing to help make a difference in the way kids and families eat?
I started a health radio program a few years ago and sponsored it myself until I ran out of funds. I tried for a government educational loan, but was denied. Funding was the main reason I didn't move forward. During the radio program I gathered info from listeners, who wanted more hands on programs. So, I wrote a business plan with a TV program in mind, and produced a demo version of the show, DVD
Would you want to come on the show to share your efforts?
