    Hi, My name is Lori.I had a gastric bypass done in august of "05" I have regretted it! My life before was miserable..or I should say I was!!! I am a mother to 5 wonderful kids that have turned into some very awesome adults I am proud of them!! But I woke up to the fact if I didnt change my life and my habits I wouldnt be around long to enjoy them or the granchildren that they where just(and are) starting to bring in this world!!! So being a chain smoker for a good number a years(3 or more packs a day) I started there!! I have been smoke free for 4 years now!!! I got medical care for some other health issues and started on a excerise plan(of my own creation) and woking on eating habits!I applied for gastric bypass surgery and had to fight insurance to get accpeted and finally won then waited almost another 6 months before i could get in to get it done but it finally paid off and today my life is...the only word I can come up with right now is awesome!! I am healthy and happy !! I love to cook and I am a very big fan of RR I watch her shows every chance I get and of course get her mag. So thanks Racheal for some great recipes!!!
